His personality is felt on nearly every page with anecdotes and his descriptions about the recipes. Many times, his explanation of how many of the recipes got their names bring on images of adventure. CeeDub's books are simply down to earth and absent of a pretentious style.

These recipes are fabulous...I couldn't wait to go to my favorite redwood grove....I just went out in the back yard, got out my dutch oven and fixed up a feast in no time.It was yummy. Dian has done it again....you can't go wrong with any of her books...if you only have one cookbook..this should be it....everything from simple to gourmet...any of her recipes could be cooked indoors...or outdoors...on a grill or on your stove...
Do yourself a favor...buy this book!!!!!
