I like cooking with whole foods as much as possible, and I hoped that this book would give me ideas on ways to speed up the cooking process - recipies for meals that I could make up the dry ingredients for and be able to quickly cook with few additions.
Unfortunately, this is not the book for that. First of all, it is very much geared toward how to make gifts, not day to day meals. Secondly, when the recipie is for salt, pepper and dried chives and the rest of the nine or ten ingredients are added when the dish is cooked, there is no reason to make up the "bag".
I found nothing useful in this book and I am very disappointed.
