(More customer reviews)What a great book...down home cooking written in a down home style!Through Marge's writing I can hear my mother's voice when she was teaching me to cook.The book includes an incredible variety of soup recipes, not to mention the bonus of dumplings, breads and spreads to go with them. If you can't find the recipe you're looking for in this book you don't need it!! Marge proves that to create a wonderful soup you don't need to be an accomplished cook.Her directions and explanations are so straight forward....they give me confidence to try some I've never made before.Can't wait to start cooking!!!
